Shift pattern: 9am – 6pm and 11am – 8pm (swap each week)

Salary: Up to £29,000 per annum + bonus

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Recruitment Account Coordinator to support our growing Driving Division, supplying professional drivers to a range of leading transport and logistics client in Barnsley.

This is a fast-moving role where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for ensuring our clients have access to reliable, compliant, and skilled drivers while delivering a first-class experience to both candidates and customers.

Previous recruitment experience is beneficial but not essential. If you have transferable skills from customer service, transport, logistics, operations, or administration, we'll provide the training and support needed to help you succeed.

What You'll Do as an Account Coordinator

This role is all about building relationships, solving problems, and ensuring our driving workforce is fully supported. Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and coordinating driver shift coverage to ensure client staffing requirements are met, including managing short-notice changes and absences

Meeting client requirements by sourcing and placing qualified HGV, LGV, and professional drivers

Recruiting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding driving candidates

Verifying licences, CPC qualifications, digital tachograph cards, and conducting compliance checks

Managing driver availability, shift bookings, and rota planning

Accurately processing payroll data and validating driver hours

Handling driver queries, absences, holiday requests, and shift changes

Ensuring compliance with transport legislation, client requirements, and recruitment best practice

Building and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and drivers

Proactively addressing staffing challenges and sourcing solutions to meet operational demands

Supporting out-of-hours requirements when necessary to ensure service continuity

What We Need From You

Experience within recruitment, transport, logistics, driving operations, or a customer service environment (preferred but not essential)

A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of challenges

Confidence working in a fast-paced environment where responsiveness is key
